Accessibility and Inclusion Practices

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement

The Feiro Marine Life Center strives to be inclusive, equitable and accessible to all by creating an environment that is respectful of each individual.

Diversity

Diversity is the presence of differences such as race, gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, income, age, or neural or physical abilities, among others.

Equity

Equity provides the pathway for everyone to have access to the same opportunities. We recognize that not everyone starts from the same place and we strive to correct this.

Inclusion

Inclusion is the feeling of being included, respected and/or valued by a group, in this context, by the FMLC staff, Board, volunteers, and attendees.
