In 2024, we worked to ignite leaders for our education programs and animal care staff. We reached over 6,000 learners through our education programs and outreach events (an increase of 118%).
Volunteers welcomed visitors into our exhibit space, kept habitats clean for our aquatic animals, and engaged in community science projects such as plankton monitoring and sea star surveys.
Partnerships were developed and strengthened. Local vet Dr. Bevins provided her expertise to support our Scaling Up Animal Care efforts.
