Join our team today!
Come along and share your time, your knowledge and experience, your love for the ocean and your dedication to marine conservation. Feiro Marine Life Center offers a full training program, where you can get very involved in the marine community.
Volunteers greet visitors and guide them through the marine exhibits, provide in-depth knowledge of exhibits, and assist with school programs. They also work behind the scenes in husbandry operations, marketing, visitor programs, lecture series and office support. Whether you are a professional, a homemaker, a student or retiree we appreciate your willingness to become a part of the Feiro Marine Life Center.
Volunteering builds communities. Come along and make friends and be a part of the team. It’s also your opportunity to explore, discover and learn.
Our Key Positions:
Naturalists
Our largest and most challenging need is for Naturalists. We provide the training you need to answer visitors’ questions about many aspects of our marine life. It is the knowledge and friendliness of our Naturalists that make certain that people will want to return again and again.
School Program Volunteers
If you love working with children or adolescents and are available during school hours, consider becoming an education volunteer. Our education staff needs help delivering a variety of school programs from preschool to twelfth grade. Training is provided but not required. If you have special skill in the areas of storytelling, music, drama or puppetry, we would love to put it to use.
Tank and Exhibit Cleaning Crew
Come behind the scenes and see how things really work. You will be trained to assist our staff in caring, feeding and cleaning habitats for all the species in the marine life center.
